Direct Services Supervision Manager

Tierney graduated with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice with a Human Services Concentration from Edgewood College after transferring from Gardner-Webb University where she played Division 1 basketball. She started her career working for the Department of Corrections in the Office of Special Operations and the Prison Rape Elimination Act, supporting incarcerated survivors of sexual assault. Then working at the Domestic Abuse Intervention Services as an advocate for families surviving domestic abuse, and for the Rape Crisis Center as a Sexual Assault Victim Advocate where she supported survivors through their healing journey. Most recently she ran the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program for the Wisconsin National Guard. Navigating through many different survivors healing journeys has helped Tierney deepen her commitment to empowering her clients to reach their goals and elevate their voices.
