Mary is a lifelong resident of Madison who has traveled and worked in over 35 countries. Second in a family of nine children, she attended Queen of Peace School, Edgewood High School, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mary has spent most of her work life in international development, leading energy programs internationally with multi-year postings in Jordan, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Afghanistan and Armenia. She is a champion for gender equity and diversity and an advocate for a just energy transition as the world experiences the impacts of climate change. Mary has two amazing adult children, with their spouses and four beloved grandchildren, in Madison and a wonderful daughter with her fiancé in Minneapolis. Mary joined the RCC Board to give back to the Madison community that has given her so much.
