OUR PAST

In November of 2001, six youth care agency executives met in Easton , PA to discuss the potential of forming a collaborative effort to apply for federal set-aside (earmark) dollars for a common project to be done by each agency.  There was group consensus to proceed with applications through a Washington D.C. consultant for funds from three federal departments.  The group was successful and received a total of $1.2 million.  As of July, 2003 the RCC has applied for $3.5 million from two Federal agencies for fiscal year 2004.
