About RCC
The Consortium is a 7 year old collaborative, founded in 2002, that is active in pursuing support for the children that are served in member agencies. It consists of eight private, non-profit child caring agencies that provide a variety of services ranging from Intensive Treatment and Emergency Shelter to Vocational Training and Short-Term Consequence Programs, Independent Living Programs, Day Schools, Early Childhood Development, Parenting Programs, Substance Abuse Programs, Adoption and Foster Care Services.
All member agencies are nationally accredited and state licensed, thereby adhering to a set of nationally accepted standards of care. The history of the nine members is rooted in residential care and community based services. Children served in our programs have been referred from state human service organizations, juvenile courts and in some situations, by the child's family.
In addition to these commonalities, one especially compelling denominator exists among this family of eight agencies. Namely, their dedication to a high quality residential intervention component. The Consortium members recognize that this represents an awesome responsibility toward families and their children whose emotional, behavioral, and environmental challenges require a caring, holistic, and effective out-of- home intervention.
The Consortium continually strives to provide innovative and cutting edge programs to empower and encourage the youth that will become the citizens of tomorrow and to focus on family driven engagement. Member agencies have the experience to serve the vulnerable and at-risk youth that are in need of help. With over 1,000 years of combined service to over 200,000 children, our collaborative has the skill and the passion to serve.
With this in mind the Consortium is designing a leading edge program to provide services to families and youth in transition. This is the critical juncture when a child returns home to family after a period of time in residential treatment. We believe this intervention program will increase the success rates of youth returning home and staying at home and in their communities.
Experience, coupled with the ability to change and grow, are but two reasons why the partners of the Consortium, having successfully met the needs of children for hundreds of years, will also succeed in extending the same quality of care and service to their families.
